We provide everything from coordinated event planning to simple delivery service. We consult and work with the client on a broad range of issues such as: menu selection, staffing, entertainment, valet service, table setup and floral arrangements.

Food Perfected is a fully licensed and bonded company. Chef Mikael is a certified food manager and handler.



Chef Mikael, Executive Chef and founding partner of Food perfected, is a graduate of Liljeholmen and Sundbyberg Schools of Culinary Arts located in Stockholm, Sweden.

Having had a passion for food and a rare, natural talent for cookery since boyhood, he started at a young age working during holidays and vacations at his mother's restaurants. He also attended various classes at the Taby Cooking School, located in the suburbs of Stockholm prior to completing a 3-year formal apprenticeship. After completing school, he has attended several workshops and has continually done so in order to hone his skills. He has also worked in both Europe and the United States, perfecting his craft.

Mikael has over 20 years of experience to his credit and has owned and operated his own business since 1998. Mikael currently resides in West Los Angeles.



Carl M. Lundstrom

Carl developed a strong interest in cookery as early as mid school. This interest grew stronger over the years and lead him to try his hand at it professionally. After having completed a two month apprenticeship at a Stockholm eatery, Carl decided to enroll in the three year hotel and restaurant management program at the St.Goran School of Culinary Arts located in Stockholm, Sweden.

Upon completing his degree Carl immersed himself into the restaurant business, setting out to learn everything there was to learn. He has since gone on to tackle nearly every aspect of the industry, from washing dishes and tendering bars to management and board rooms. His deep passion for gastronomic arts combined with a good business sense has made him a valuable asset to our team here at Food Perfected.



Jennifer Ischayek

Jennifer is a registered dietitian and exercise physiologist. She received her Bachelor of Science in nutritional science with a major in dietetics form McGill University and graduated from San Diego State University with a dual Masters of Science in exercise physiology & nutritional sciences as "Outstanding Graduate Student". While attending university, Jennifer taught exercise physiology testing methods. Her research topics include glycemic index, and metabolic testing.

Jennifer uses an innovative approach to offer practical and sustainable solutions. Since becoming a dietitian she has helped many people get control of their weight, reduce their waist size by over 20%, and normalize their blood lipids and glucose levels to reduce their risk of developing complications. She also works closely with athletes of all abilities to make sure that they have the right tools and knowledge to meet their goals.

Her areas of nutritional practice include individual counseling, group counseling, programs/workshops, childhood obesity, cardiovascular disease/hypertension, diabetes, digestive disorders, general nutrition and wellness, gerontology, sports nutrition, vegetarianism, and weight control.
